When interpersonal conflicts or morale problems begin to undermine productivity, the EAP is often called to conduct a Unit Assessment. This assessment is conducted by the EAP through a structured interview, usually conducted with individual employees. Organizational 360 surveys (which can be customized to measure specific concerns) can also be added to the assessment. Management is then provided with a comprehensive assessment report, which identifies unit problems and causal factors, as well as specific recommendations to remedy the problems in order to return the unit to a higher level of productivity.
