HHSG’s mediation services provide a constructive process for resolving differences and conflicts between individuals, work units, and/or between management and employees. Our mediation services provide an alternative to avoidance, destructive confrontation, unfair labor practices, prolonged litigation, or violence. Mediation gives management and employees an opportunity to take responsibility for the resolution of their dispute and control the outcome.
Mediation Service is designed to preserve individual interests while strengthening relationships and building trust between people, to create processes that make the job environment work for all of us. The mediation is a process of dispute or conflict resolution in which one or more impartial mediators intervene in a conflict situation with the consent of the disputants and assists them in negotiating a consensual and informed agreement. In mediation, the decision-making authority rests with the parties themselves. Recognizing variations in styles and cultural differences is the role of the HHSG mediator; it involves assisting the disputants in defining and clarifying issues, expressing their feelings, reducing hostility, reducing obstacles to communication, exploring possible solutions, and reaching a mutually satisfactory agreement.
