Health and Human Services Group (HHSG), a Hispanic and Veteran-owned Small Disadvantaged Business, is a psychological consulting company founded in 1982 to specialize exclusively in providing Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services to the law enforcement and business community. HHSG designed and implemented one of the first comprehensive, "hands on" and "user friendly" EAP's to meet the needs of its clients on October1, 1983.
In 1993, HHSG implemented a professionally managed comprehensive national EAP for the Department of Justice (USINS and DEA). The program was a 3-6 session delivery model offering clinical, CISD, training, organizational development, mediation, and information and referral services to approximately 48,000 law enforcement officers, service and support employees and family members.
HHSG currently provides the following services nationwide to 10,000 employees and their family members: EAP services, psychological consulting services, management and organizational consulting services, 360 surveys, Critical Incident Stress Debriefings (CISD) and traumatic incident services, Peer Support services, training development and delivery services, and threat risk assessment services to federal law enforcement agencies and the business community. |
